Hello, I am currently running Vista Home Premium with (SP1) and my movie maker keeps crashing whenever I try to import media. It's really starting to get annoying and I was wondering if anyone knows any fixes that will stop this from happening. Beyond what On Request said - what are the file properties for: flvff.dll ? That seems like it may be the likely culprit, since a third party DLL identified as the Fault Module is typically the source of a crash. =\ -- Speaking for myself only. Thank you both for responding. Apparently that file flvff.dll is related to real player v11 which I have currently installed on my comp. I'm going to uninstall it and see if movie maker stops crashing, but I would really like to keep real player because this version has some pretty cool features on it! Anyone know how both can co-exist on my comp without movie maker crashing? (That is, if uninstalling Real Player does in fact stop it from crashing) -- Niki116 |

It would probably make a lot of sense to check in with RealNetworks support about this and see what they know about this DLL and any issues with Movie Maker. -- Speaking for myself only. What happens when you Check for Solutions in the Problem Reports and Solutions Center control panel? That bucket should already have a response. =) -- Speaking for myself only.
