It could be incompatible issue. Try to disable the IPv6 first. Or check this
post.

Vista lost IP after resuming from ...Jan 28, 2008 ... When resuming from
Sleep, Vista Home Prem. about half the time does NOT request a new IP
from my wireless router and uses the one it was ...

I had no problems for 2 months after installing Vista Ultimate, Microsoft and
Dell said my equipment was Vista ready or compatible. I will try to disable
the IPv6 first. thanks
