Standard User account cannot see/access all programs
Help !! I installed Office - and as Administrator, I can access all the
programs - but my current standard users (and ones that I just created) can only see Excel. Also - when I drag a program onto my desktop, it disappears from the Program list - how do I get it back on there ? Thanks for any help. I'm desperate |

The 2nd one is simple. Just drag it back to the Bottom of the program list. It will not be in alphabetical order, but it's back in there. I did that no more 6 hours ago while I was trying some silly experiments which failed, and I dragged the program back to the window list. The 1st. question might have somethiong to do with "right-clicking the program, Run As Administrator ", then open the program. I'm just guessing, don't shoot me if it was wrong method. -- davidjchuang |

Wait till they reissue Windows 95; that will be a REAL advance on this hopeless mess. -- Hippomenes Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
