Default Standard User account cannot see/access all programs

Help !! I installed Office - and as Administrator, I can access all the
programs - but my current standard users (and ones that I just created) can
only see Excel. Also - when I drag a program onto my desktop, it disappears
from the Program list - how do I get it back on there ? Thanks for any
help. I'm desperate

Hi, I can't answer the 1st. question. The 2nd one is simple. Just drag
it back to the Bottom of the program list. It will not be in
alphabetical order, but it's back in there. I did that no more 6 hours
ago while I was trying some silly experiments which failed, and I
dragged the program back to the window list.
The 1st. question might have somethiong to do with "right-clicking the
program, Run As Administrator ", then open the program. I'm just
guessing, don't shoot me if it was wrong method.

Hi there David's second answer doesn't work. You're stuffed, like me.

Wait till they reissue Windows 95; that will be a REAL advance on this
hopeless mess.
