Default File trasfer speed through LAN

I attempted to transfer a folder containing sufolders and files whose
total size is about 8GB. Both PCs were running Vista SP1. I waited about
2 minutes and noticed that the estimated remaining time was 1 hour 10
minutes. What could be wrong for this slow speed?

There may be many causes. Try to turn off auto tuning or/and disable IPv6.
