Default Cannot Find Wireless Network Icon under "Manager Network Connectio

I am unable to use my wireless were I used to be able to use my wireless for
several months. I've tried about everything I can think of. The weird thing
is my wireless network icon is no longer were I used to disable it and enable
it when I had problems. I'm also having an error with my 6to4 adapter but
don't know if that's related?

Make sure the wireless switch is on. Or this search result may help.

It's not the wireless switch, the light on my laptop always stays red whether
it is on the on or off position. I think the weird thing is that my icon is
no longer there and therefore my computer doesn't even think I have wireless
but I had been using it for several months before.
