Default Performance Information and Tools doesn't want to rate my pc

Performance Information and Tools doesn't want to rate my pc! , I have and
error saying that it cannot complete assessment due an error being reported
from operating system, driver, or other component. I am running pre RC1
Vista. my laptop is Intel celeron M procesor 1.50 GHZ
1014MB RAM
32 bit OS
HD 50GB
Video 915GM/GMS/910GML intel ofcourse no aero :-(
the only device problem I have is the DVD driver from this travel mate 2420
acer pc. HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4244N ATA Device.
I don't know if this is the prob, and how can I rate my pc if Performance
tool doesn't work?
