We have been using a logon script for XP pro machines in a server 2003 domain
for drive mapping and adding printers. We just recently purchase 20 Vista Business editions to add to the network. I put a new Vista machine on the network to test it, and logn time from a user to the same addPrinter script takes 20 minutes to log on. Remove the link to the GPO and logon time is normal. How can I fix this? here is the script: Set WshNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network") WshNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection "\\server\printer" WshNetwork.SetDefaultPrinter "\\server\printer" Any help would be appreciated.
