Default Vista update resulted in network issues

after Vista did some updates (not ure why and which) the Vista machine
doe't connect to the LAN anymore. It's cnnecte t the router on 192.681.1
but cannot ping the router nor the rest of the netwerk. Also, it's IP
seems to be leased from some other DHCP (not the router, see below).
What's happened? Anybody recognise this problem?

Are you sure you connect the computer to the router? It seems to me
80.56.109.223 is the IP your ISP assigns to you.

yep, the compu is connected to the router. But i found out what's
causing it; the mediabox (!= the modem) is also connected to the router.
If i remove the UPC (chello) mediabox from the router the Vista server
does have access to the network.
