I cannot read a folder on a Vista PC from a DOS PC with MSCLIENT installed,
using TCP/IP. No problem if the folder is on XP PC. I disabled many protection setting on Vista PC but it doesn't work yet. Is there a particular setting on Vista to do this? Thank you in advance |

Vista doesn't support file sharing with DOS, WFW, or Windows 95/98/Me. It only works with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
