Default Restore from Windows Backup not working (RC1)

Hello,

I installed RC1, made a backup of my files (Backup & Restore - Backup
Files).

I later had to reinstall RC1 because of some driver issues. I then went to
restore some individual files from the backup (by clicking on 'Advanced
Restore'). However, I am having the following problems:

1) If I choose "Files from the latest backup made on this computer" I
receive an error that the disk containing the backup is not accessible. I
have to select "Files from a backup made on a different computer".

2) Once I select that, I can choose individual files to restore. However,
after I select those files the following prompt occurs:

"The files you are restoring have security permissions for a user account
which could not be found on this computer. The missing account is shown below.

COMPUTERNAME\None"

It then tells me I need to create an account with the same user name, or I
can just restore the files without reassigning security permissions.
Whichever option I choose, when I click 'Continue' the Restore program fails
with the following error:

"Microsoft Windows Backup has stopped working"

How do I get past this? I'm really worried that I won't be able to restore
all my files.

Thanks.....

Have you tried changing permissions for the backup files?
