Windows Fax and Scan is only found in the Vista Business
and Ultimate editions, not in Vista Home Premium. Consider purchasing a dedicated fax program such as Snappy Fax: http://www.snappysoftware.com/ -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience - Windows System & Performance --------------------------------------------------------------- "genie" wrote in message ... -- gl |

While I appreciate your answer, this truly is ridiculous. I'm a home user
that has used faxing several times a year (both receiving and sending) over many years. What microsoft is saying that: only business users fax. Horsepucky. It also seems silly that a modem is built into the system by HP and they don't provide a solution. Ignorant. Now I have to pay some 3rd party with a crappy website 30 bucks for software that has been built into my previous system for 10 years. I just got myself emotionally over the fact that Palm and Netgear don't provide V64 versions of their software, and now I get to be mad at Microsoft.
