I have a Vista SP1 desktop and a Vista SP1 Notebook. They are connected via
ethernet cable. The desktop contains three major applications and data that are shared and accessed by the notebook. Quicken files are accessed immediately from the notebook. Microsoft Outlook and an Address Book application can take up to a minute to access the files. Both application say "Not Responding" but if you wait long enough they responds and then you can proceed as normal. Why the difference between application responses? Lynndale |
