i have vista x64 with a epson 830u printer installed works fine tried to setup my home network/printershare what would normaly take about 5 mins with xp not so with vista my problem at the moment is when i setup the printer on the xp machine im told driver on the x64 machine isnt the right one and i have to click browse to find it one no matter what i do i can't find the driver in this way as it comes in a .exe that can't be extracted i could just install the driver via the .exe xp myself but thats not good enough for microsoft it has to do it via the inf files that i dont have or can't get i have a feeeling i will be back on xp 32bit by the end of the week at this rate i dont have the time to fight with my OS tbh can anyone help ? -- lee786 |
