Just a thought, but since people with dual-boot seem to be finding that XP's
defragger can cope with Vista formatted disks I wondered if you could copy XP's defragger across to Vista. Presume it would need to be isolated in its own directory together with the XP versions of the appropriate DLL files - but subject to that could it be made to work and restore some form of progress indication (the visible colour bars would be enough for this)?. If so, any idea what files to copy? |
