For some reason I cannot open Task Scheduler. When I try to open it says
"Task Scheduler service not running. Verify that the service is running." In services.msc it says that it is "started". I would stop and restart it but the options are greyed out. Get an error messenge where I try to stop it via Task Manager services tab. I have tried net start "task scheduler" in cmd.exe but everytime i try to start task scheduler it says its already running (when there is oviously a problem with it) and when i try to stop it i get an error message, access denied. I have UAC turned off and did "run as administrator". Also i try to add the snap-in within the MMC.exe but once i add the task scheduler snap in it says service not available, verify it is running. Any ideas? |
