LAN tray icon not showing. My internet connection is functioning fine. I knew
how to make this icon show up on the tray on XP but don't know how to do it
on VISTA.
Please, I would appreciate help. Thanks

Default tray LAN icon

Hi,

I have the same problem and when I view the checkboxes in the Notification
Area tab in the Taskbar Properties, it is unchecked and grayed out. This only
happened after my Wireless Router stopped working. I rebooted the computer
and when that didn't help, i rebooted the router. The router is now running
fine again and I have an Internet connection, but the icon won't show and I
cannot enable it. I suspect that if I reboot the computer again, it will come
back, but there must be a way to enable it without rebooting.

Thanks
