Hi,
Running Vista RC2 (build 5744). When I click a 'folder' in the start menu, it takes a while before it expands. Also, the CPU seems to be used heavily from the moment I click the folder until it expands. I already set "MenuShowDelay" to zero in the registry, but that did not help. Is there any way to speed up things in the start menu? Regards, Mark Veldhuis. |

om... I really like the new Start menu! I think it's absolutely awful. I wish there was an option to have the old breakout cascading All Programs menu. ss. |

Went into the Start menu properties and took a closer look. Disabled "Open submenus when I pause on them with the mouse pointer", and the menu is much faster now. Hope this helps anyone who experienced the same annoyance. I really like the new Start menu! Regards, Mark Veldhuis. Thanks for the tip Mark. This IS much better! |
