Default Where has the connection gone

Set up a VPN on my laptop 2 moths ago and it worked fine. Today I cannot find
it. Its gone from Connect To and its not in Manager Network Connections. I
cant create a new one with the same name because the computer tells me it
exists and if I create a new connection it does not appear anywhere either.

Any ideas please?
