Should I use a CAT6 cable to connect my cablemodem to the WAN port on my
router, to allow gigabit ethernet? The cablemodem connection is only 10MBS with my ISP, so I assume there is not advantage to cat6/gigabit? |

Hi
You can use CAT6 if you want to. Technically it is not needed, CAT5e is rated Giga too. In addition, the Giga is on the LAN side of the Network. Jack (MVP-Networking).
