The memory stick appear (as "(FS) FLASH DISK" in device mgr), and I can browse it, copy to it etc - 5 seconds later Vista removes it and prompts for drivers to be installed. I sense a bug. |

Tried the same memory stick on an Intel with Vista x86 RTM and it worked fine. The chipset is an nForce, could be a bug in the drivers - nVidia drivers have been pretty aweful throughout the Vista beta. Open Device Manager and expand "Portable Device", then plug the device in. You'll see it appear and then immediately disappear. We'll have to file a bug report on it. |
