I have a brand new Dell notbook computer with Windows vista Ultimate loaded
on it. I installed outlook 2007 and proceed to connect to an external exchange server. This seemed to work fine. Then I imported in my old .pst file into this outlook .ost file. I am trying to get the outlook to sync with exchange server and it is not working at all. It continually says "waiting for folders to update". But, it never, ever updates. I have another desktop with vista business and everything works fine. Any thoughts on what is happening ? I have researched online and found a ton of articles on vista ultimate specifically having problems with exchange. I have installed service pack 1 and all updates and still having the problem. I am in no mans land since Dell wants to charge me to troubleshoot and microsoft does not support OEM. So my options are to either get some great technical help from sommewhere out there OR to return the computer and get a new one with Windows vista business instead. HELP !! I have done |

ANdy,
I got frustrated with this and left the computer alone for 2 days and somehow it just started working fine. Hopefully will not be an issue again.
