Troubles activating microphone port.
Hey, I was fiddling around in vista the other day on my new laptop and
unintentionally inactivated my microphone port in the belief that I could activate it again. Just it disapeared from the list when I inactivated it. Now I can't seem to activate it again. Would anyone know how I get it working again? |

Troubles activating microphone port.
The old Disable a device trick :P
This problem has a simple fix...Open your recording device settings by right clicking on the little speaker in your system tray. You will hopefully see a box with no recording devices (maybe some may appear) Simply right click within the box where the device should display and click show disabled devices. From there re-enable it. - Patrick Squire http://www.msblog.org "daste" wrote in message ...
