Default Connection Problems

Just recently in the last few weeks, I have been unable to connect to
websites first time.
I use Firefox mainly, but have tried in I.E and still have problems.
Basically, if I click on a link, or open a site from my bookmarks the page
will not always load.
I get the standard messages from firefox or I.E "Problem loading Page -
Server not found" I have to sometimes refresh the page several times to load
my pages. This is a problem when transacting online banking or paying via
paypal.
I am running a compaq laptop on Vista 1.6ghz dual core pentium with 2ghz
memory. I am connecting via a Belkin wireless router.
My ISP tell me it has no issues in my area and the problem is likely at my
end.
How can I trace and rectify this problem as its getting on my nerves!

Default Connection Problems

Is there any updated Vista compatible firmware for the Belkin router?
Or any updated drivers for your Network Adaptor?

Also, in your Network connection, you could try disabling TCP/IPv6
Right-click NC Untick TCP/IPv6, etc. reboot
