I'm running vista and ie7. Question: if I have multiple connections to
wireless internet, how do I control which one a particular instance if ie7 is using? I need to have several copies of ie7 open, each with its own connection. thanks. |

When multiple Internet connections are available, Windows chooses one of them and uses it for all Internet access. There's no way to associate a specific program (or program instance) with a specific Internet connection. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see. If each IE7 window was opened to address a specific distant host, by IP address, in theory a different connection could be used. You would have to tweak the Static Route table though. http://networking.nitecruzr.net/2005/11/static-route-table.html http://networking.nitecruzr.net/2005...ute-table.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP 2005-2007 [Windows - Networking] http://networking.nitecruzr.net/ |
