I have a strange ( situation) in my house. My desk top computer which is
wireless connected to my wife's computer in her room (hers is the hard wired computer) is losing its internet connection. The wireless connection is good. When I turn on my laptop right next to my computer, it connects to the internet perfectly. As soon as it does, my desktop connects. When my laptop is turned off, the desktop loses its connection. |

Hi
If you are getting the Connection through your wife's laptop it has to stay on in order to provide the connection. Otherwise explain better how your Internet connection and Local Network arrangements are configured. Jack (MVP-Networking). "Pivco" wrote in message ... I have a strange ( situation) in my house.
