Default What makes them disappear ?

I lost my Network nd Volume icons from the Notification area. I went the
right click on taskbar routine, and found out the boxes were unchecked
and greyed out. I got them back via system restore. What I'd like to
know is what caused that? The only significant activity was installing
the new version of CCleaner, and then I ran it. That's it, no other
programs installed.

I tried to find an answer for you but I could only find the two
articles in the links below. It may have nothing to do with CCleaner as I
have never had this problem while using it. It seems the problem may be
caused by something in the SP1 update.
Sorry. I wish I could offer you more help.

Hello C.B.
Thank you for you reply. I don't have SP1, but by following the first
link, one of the responses mentioned about going through Control Panel
and found out the buttons were available instead of greyed out. Of
course I can't confirm that claim now. But I'll keep that in mind.
Thanks again.
