Default network password pop-up

Hi, I keep getting a pop-up that says enter network password. I am not on a
network, but I am on a laptop that is wireless. I am not using the wireless
to connect to the internet, but instead am connected directly.
This pop up message is new, I have never seen it before...why now???
Thanks

Default network password pop-up

Hi
If the Wireless is On it might try to log to Wireless networks that are
available around you.
You can set your system to prefer the Wire,

Or switch Off the wireless card (most new Laptops have a way to physically
switch it Off, see the computer's manual).
