Default SmartAX MT841 (DSL Modem)

In Vista I am unable to install SmartAX MT841, which is a DSL Modem. Thus I
am unable to connect to internet. Even I tried with driver disk by installing
..exe file, but some how that driver is also not getting installed. Please let
me know how do I install it?

I know that. it wont install but there is a clever way of connecting to
internet using the modem without installing it.
1.install your motherboard ethernet port using the motherboard CD. If
windows says the cd is not supported, browse the cd and manually install
ethrnet driver.
2.RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.
3.then make the broadband connection using _connect_to_ in -start
button.-
4.click on -_set_up_a_new_connection_-.
5.type necessary things.
AND CONNECT TO INTERNET.
it will work 100%
