Default Network connectin drops

Hi,
I am usimng an ABit MB - afatre a few hours randomly the network connection
fails.
It refuses to be reset or repaired and only fixes itself.
The router works fine for the other machines connected.
I don't use DHCP and it only seesm to have started in the last couple of
weeks.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Frank

Hi
It might be an onboard Network card failure.
If the board uses nVidia chipset make sure that the nVidia Firewall is Not
installed.
Otherwise, to rule out card failure try a PCI network card.
