Default Help Me!!!!

Alright, I have a major problem. I recently bought a Xbox 360 and want
to hook it up with my home network. Im too far away from a router so I
am trying to hook it up via laptop (Vista Home Premium 32bit). I have
followed ALL instruction whether from forums or even youtube video on
how to set it up. I've tried multiple things but nothing seems to work.
Every single time I test the media and live connection it says my
network adapter is disconnected. I've tried to make a bridge between two
LANs, I've tried to allow sharing. I've done it all pretty much. But
nothing seems to work out.. Can someone who is experienced in this area
please help me out!!! Thanks

Hi
I assume that the laptop connects via Wireless to the Router and the X-Box
connects with wire to the laptop.
Set the connection between the X-Box and the laptop using static IPs that
are on a different subnet than the Router and the Wireless connection.
Once you establish a connection between the X-Box and the Laptop, use the
bridging capacity of the Laptop's OS.
Make sure that the Router's DHCP can give extra IPs.
Jack (MVP-Networking).

thanks for the help, but the biggest problem is that I cannot establish
the connection between the xbox and the laptop. I've tried multiple ways
to but the network adapter keeps saying its disconnected.
