Hi, I've had wireless working fine under XP, with WPA. Having installed
Vista now my wireless will not work unless I disable the WPA security, it also doesn't work with WEP. I've doubled checked my security key several times and I am certain it is correct, I have also used several different versions of the wireless card's drivers either from Realtek or from Asus. I have been in touch with D-Link and they've suggested that wireless security may not be properly enabled within Vista. Has anyone had experience with this or am I alone? Many thanks ChrisC Hardwa Asus P5W DH Deluxe Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11g 54Mbs USB 2.0 Network Adaptor(came with the motherboard) D-Link DSL-G624M |

try different firmware in your router. just the other day I saw
someone with a DI-624 rev C hardware with 2.76 firmware. downgrading to 2.42 fixed the issue for him. many of these issues are firmware specific. Microsoft is working with vendors on these issues. Hi, sorry but there is no other firmware than the one I have got, D-Link, in
my enquiries has made no reference to any others. They did request which firmware I was running, b02t09.20051212, but made no other recommendation.... they don't list a DSL-G624M on their site. Did this come from your
ISP? On Fri, 1 Dec 2006 04:04:00 -0800, ChrisC wrote: Hi, sorry but there is no other firmware than the one I have got, D-Link, in my enquiries has made no reference to any others. Hi, yes there is, but that is a backward step and has other issues. Actually
I've just tried another router, a DSL-G604T, and that is having the same issues as well. Really appreciate your help though....
