Windows Update seems to increasingly disrupt the functioning of a machine. It
is now regularly the case that the network capability on both Vista and XP stops functioning correctly when an update download is in progress. I have also just finished reconfiguring a multi screen machine. Why was this necessary, because after a Windows update (Vista) the second screen was disabled which confused the user. I could go on, Windows Update is pretty much becoming a major cause of support calls. Is it really intened that it is a disruptive and should cause as many problems. Is it time for a complete rethink, maybe it should be named the anti-productivity tool |
