Default Windows Experience Index troubleshoot?

Sirs,
Anticipated thanks for your interest. This laptop is running a WEI of 4.3.
If I run the "Update Score", the operation complete only to 2/3, pass the
hard drive check. Then it will give "cannot complete assignment. Error being
reported by the OS, drivers or other components"
The base score is the one for the Graphics, which in details is:
Display adapter type: ATI Mobility FireGL V5250
Total available graphics memory: 1535 MB
Dedicated graphic memory: 256 MB
Dedicated system memory: 0
Shared system memory: 1279 MB
Display adapter driver version: 8.383.1.1000
Primary monitor resolution 1400x1050
DirectX version: DX 10

Others than generalities, I have not found a clear way to troubleshoot this.
In general, the laptop and the OS are performing satisfactorily.
Cheers
