Default Vista Can't Detect Wireless Network

Hi all,

I have a computer expierencing problem detecting wireless network in
some places. The computer can detect network with no problem in some
places.

But it cannot detect my home wireless network all of a sudden, it can
before. Now I still have other XP computers which are using the
wireless at home with no problem. So I am just wondering why the Vista
computer suddenly cannot detect the network at home. There is no switch
for wireless for the computer. It is Fuji Lifebook S Series.

Any guidance will be appreicated.

Hi
Could be that by connecting to an out side Wireless some setting change so
it does not match any more your Home setting.
Check the Wireless configuration to make sure that it is compatible with
your parameters and security settings.
This page was meant for XP but the general principle applies to Vista Well.

These two pages have specific instructions for Vista.

BTW, Vista is not as bad as you think, the fact is that Millions of people
are successfully using Wireless with Vista.
