Default ndis.sys BSOD :(

Random BSOD.

ndis.sys @ 856F4896

net drivers a
intel pro/wireless 2915ABG v9.1.0.104
broadcom 400x 10/100 v4.49.0.0
.... which are their latest revisions AFAIK.

WinVista 6000 (MSDN RTM). Did not have this error on previous install (same
machine) of Vista 5600.

Can connect to my network fine used wired & wireless, and use it fine - but
after some minutes it just randomly BSODs and restarts.

Very bad for me getting work done.

Any help?

- Sai

As far as I know all Vista versions except for OEM are not release versions
so they will still have bugs. OEM versions are so new I doubt many users
have them yet. Even after the initial release of Vista there will
undoubtably be problems. I suggest going back to XP or any stable OS.

Ummm that's OEM "business" version not "retail" box version. So it is for PC
mfg. to install on OEM PC's for retail. Same thing I guess but OEM's are not
all going to jump on board right away. Too soon I'm afraid. XP is still the
mainstay for most smart users and will be well into 2007.

I think retail may have some fixes added before it gets boxed. You will see
many problems with Vista until first SP1 in 2007. Expect the unexpected.
