Default CPU Fan runs faster and making big noice


Hi friends,:cry:
My System is HP pavilion a 1200il and has intel xtreem graphice mother
board with 2.93 ghz processor.
This is the problem; ** [ S I Z E = \ " 5 \ " ] [ S I Z E = \ " 6 \ " ]
[ S I Z E = \ " 4 \ " ] [ B ] [ B ] A f t e r t h e b o o t i n g
m y p r o c e s s o r ' s f a n r u n s f a s t e r a n d m
a k i n g b i g n o i c e . * [ / B ] [/size][/size][/size]*[/b] it
happening also some other occassions like gaming. but sometimes it's
silent.

I think it maybe a hardware problem. but if there is any software
solution or hardware solution pls. give me. I expect ur valuable
advice.please....

Default CPU Fan runs faster and making big noice

This is normal for most newer computers and all laptops. They use
temperature management features to make the fans run as a speed that
compromises between ultimate cooling and loudest noise. Older systems ran
the fans at 100% speed all the time and thus were always loud.

Yes, but you should replace the heatsink as well. There are lots of quiet
and efficient heatsink/fans on the market: see Arctic and others.

If it's a laptop, don't bother. Dismantle what you can and then blast any
dust out with compressed air.

Blow some air (maybe buy a can of compressed air) over all the fans
including the CPU heat sink.
