Essentially, since moving to my new flat I am unable to connect to the wireless connection. I will give as much detail as I can, but if ive missed anything useful, let me know. Hi
First check the Wireless source (Wireless Router/ Access Point) and make sure that there is No filtering (like MAC filter) that have to be set to accommodate your computer. Then make sure that your computer setting matches the one of the Wireless source. Thanks Jack - Im certain that the security settings match up. The windows utility recognises it as using WPA and the password is correct. I guess Mac filtering is definetly a possibility then, and some silly bugger has changed the router password from the defaults! pfff might end up buying a new one anyway then! Ill update how I get on.. -- Feiticera ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Feiticera's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=50214 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=974215 http://forums.techarena.in |
