Hi, I have what looks like a duplicate entry under my networks folder. How
do I delete one of them? comp1 and comp1-oc (the -OC was added when I reset my workgroup name.) they both contain the same shared folder information. I want to delet comp1-oc and just have comp1 (the current name for the computer) showing. Thanks for any help with this. R. Stricker |

Given time it will go away by itself. If it really bothers you, shut down
all the computers on your network and then re-start them and it will immediately go away. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] * NEW! Stricker This is produced by One Care if you set up printer sharing through One Care. I believe you can get rid of it by removing the printer sharing in One Care and setting it up 'manually'. Or you could just ignore it. Tom |

Thanks for your help on this. I cleared the printer sharing and the "extra"
network names disappeared. "Richard Stricker" wrote in message ... Hi, I have what looks like a duplicate entry under my networks folder. I've just found that media sharing behaves similarly. Tom |
