Hi,
I don't what the problem is but vista doesn't show any other pc on my home network and i'm really furstrated now. When i first install it and on the first run it does show the others but now it just doesn't. I have checked there is nothing wrong, Here are the settings: Network discovery is ON File Sharing is ON Public Folder sharing is ON Media sharing is ON Since there is no printer installed it doesn't give me that feature. I'm really furstrated as i tried restoring it to a previous point but no luck. I'm running Vista basic as the Ultimate was doing the same and this is full version not beta. Any ideas? -- --------------------------------- Supes | Trying to find my place |

Hi josh,
No offence to you but I mostly travel a lot and i need to connect it in every network site where i would go so for this scenario i would need to install this update on every machine on every site i would visit. If it is this then this really sucks. Bear in mind that I can see the network the first time but afterwords it wasn't coming at all. Any other ideas? because i can't really update all the xp machines in the whole organisation just coz. of my only vista machine. --------------------------------- Supes | Trying to find my place "Josh" wrote: Install this hotfix on your Windows XP machine. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en -- Josh You never know what you might learn - http://windowsconnected.com "Supes" wrote in message ...
