Default Windows XP Error Message

Please help me. I Windows XP. There was a message on the screenue to
disconnecting abruptly using power surge set up ' Start Windows Normally';
'Start in Safe Mode';'Start Mode with Networking'; 'Start with Command
Prompt. I searched for away to fix this and I did a System Recovery of all
files on hard drive according to directions on HP Support. I recovered the
originals files but I now have a message when I turn on computer which says:
Hardware Monitor found an error: Enter Power Setup for details. I click on F5
likes it says but once in there I don't know what to click on next.

This is not an XP newsgroup. It is Vista. Try
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general.
