If you want to create one large PDF, then you can scan each page in turn....
but you'll have to have a PDF creator application such as CutePDF or Acrobat installed. If it's a lot of pages, yes, it's going to take a long time. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/windows "Lynx282" wrote in message ... I don't know if this is too late, but the following is from the HP site regarding YOUR printer. "Scanning multiple pages Manual multi-page scanning is possible with the software included with the all-in-one. To prompt for additional pages, on the Preferences tab of the Scan Picture settings or the Scan Document settings, select Prompt for additional pages after each scan from glass . Most graphics programs do not support multi-page scanning. Microsoft Word will stack multiple pages of pictures one on top of the other but will correctly accept multiple pages of editable text." Hope this helps. -- regards CL :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "Lynx282" wrote: How to scan multiple pages and save as one single file without document feeder? |

Addendum:
Multipage scanning will not work in Fax & Scan. Your will have to scan the page/s to disc & then 'attach' the saved file to the fax. -- regards CL :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "Lynx282" wrote: How to scan multiple pages and save as one single file without document feeder? |
