Default HP printer problems on Vista by novice

*Hi
Can anyone please help?*
*I am by no means an expert on the Vista system, and am currently
stumped by trying to remove (delete) an installed printer (HP1210 all in
one). I have tried all usual channels but am still seeing printer
and stating deleting! If I click on the printers properties it says that
there is one job still to do, but it is impossible to cancel and/or
remove this, thus no completion on deleting printer.*
*Thanks for all constructive help*

Check HP;s website under your exact model to see if they have an uninstall
utility that you can download and use.

Thanks Cari,
Managed to remove eventually but took a very long time. Unfortunately
the printer is a bit old and HP didn't carry any links or uninstall
devices on it at all.
I appreciate your comments.
Regards,
Steve

Glad you and 'it' are OK, IMHO all AIO's should have an uninstall utility
available at the manufacturer's website!
