Blue screen when playing Age of Conan
I just got this computer for gaming. Its a iBUYPOWER with an Athlon 64 X2
Dualcore processor, 4G Ram, Vista Ultimate 64bit, Dual Nvidia 8800GT video cards. When I play Age of Conan, I get kicked out to a blue screen after a very few minutes. I can not read the blue screen because it goes away very fast. I'm desperate. Please help. |

Had a similar prob with an earlier machine I had, and I took out 2GB or the RAM and problem solved -- VRG Scotty www.vistareadygames.com Register, it's free, and use the 'search for solution' tab for any problems |

Blue screen when playing Age of Conan
What sound card are you using? My computer is close to yours (Intel C2D
6750 instead of AMD processor) 4 gig RAM, Vista Ultimate 64 and an 8800 Ultra video and I've not had any bluescreen issues with AoC. I use to have lots of issues with other games when I used a Sound Blaster sound card with this system. I took it out and used the onboard sound and all my bluescreen issues went away. I'd make sure all drivers are up to date and check out to see if there's any Windows updates for Vista 64 bit that may help with game stability. I seem to remember there being some but I can't say for sure. "Ulises" wrote in message ... I just got this computer for gaming.
