Default Defragging Boot Files

There's a tutorial on this site for enabling defragging of the boot
files. Here's the link:

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/15...e-disable.html

When I look at my registry for these keys, the entry for
OptimizeComplete is No, and the entry for OptimizeError is Error retry.
The boot file optimization is enabled. Anyone know if this means it's
not defragging the boot files?

Default Defragging Boot Files

Well, I did a manual defrag of the boot files by entering defrag c: -b
at the command prompt. This reset the OptimizeComplete value to Yes.
I'll see if Vista can remember to defrag the boot files automatically.
