Default Vista Media center does not recognize TV card.......

I have a HP 3121 Slimline computer that came with a built in ViSX Pure TV-U
48A3 (NTCS) card. I upgraded my computer to Vista Ultimate a couple of
months back. Whenever I open up the Media Center, then go to 'TV Set Up', I
get an error box indicating that 'Media Center is unable to open tv manager
because a TV card/device is not detected'. I can then go to the device
manager under the control panel and the card is clearly listed with the
indication that 'this device is working properly'. How do I get the Vista
Media center to recognize my tv card? Thank you.

Does your tv card have drivers for Vista? If so, have you downloaded and
installed the software?

Assuming you have Vista drivers for your TV card; prior to setting up the
TV, do you first run the setup for the Guide? In my Vista Home Premium, the
Guide setup configures the TV tuner for local channels. Guide setup is
required before Media Center recognizes the TV tuner card.
