Default Playstation Portable (PSP)

Keep getting error messages when downloading music/pics to PSP. It'll
starting copying (takes a long time) then an error message stating it cannot
locate the file I am trying to acess. When I check the PSP thefile
downloaded & plays for about 5 secs then an error message "corrupted data".
I've tried on another computer and everything works just fine (including all
cables), but when I try on my Vista nothing works. I have the folders listed
correctly and in caps. My USB ports are working fine as I am able to connect
other devices and works just fine. I have PSP, Microsoft and I keep getting
referred everywhere else. Now I am trying this. Can anyone please help.
Don't know what to do anymore. Is it possible that I may need to download
some type of files to make my vista compatible for PSP? or ???

I have a MS Vista Home Premium Edition 32bit SP1. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
