I have XP Pro at home on a desktop. I can access this computer with another
XP computer no problem. I just bought a new laptop with Vista installed, how
can I get the Vista laptop to do a remote desktop to the XP Pro machine?

Vista and XP are no different in this area -- Look for connectivity or
firewall issues.

I have solved the problem, I was connected to the same router so I need to
use my internal IP address and not my Internet IP address, but I would like
to thank everyone for the help.
