router problem
I have a wireless router which keeps going offline. The router is used to
broadcast an internet signal to my wife's computer. My computer is connected directly to my cable modem. In the last few months the signal is frequently lost and the only way to get it back is to turn off the power to the router and then turn it back on. Then I click on repair and it usually restores the signal. I am running vista ultimate. I was thinking it might be the router. Does anyone have any information on this problem?

It probably IS the router... you never bothered to mention the brand/model. Your best connection is to connect the router to the cable modem, then your computer to the router.

Also, check with the router's manufacturer's website to see if there is
updated Firmware for it.
