Yes I'm another Vista user who is having DRM issues. I downloaded 4OD which should allow me to watch Channel 4 programs on my PC. However whenever I try and watch anything a pop up appears tell me something is wrong with my DRM and the it closes. DRM has been bothering me for ages. I've googled for solutions but so far haven't found anything that has solved my issues. I've seen something about a Datapath in the registry being mention. I had a look in my registry and can't see anything like that. I've also read about deleting files contained in a DRM folder. I found it but there is nothing there anywhere. Thanks for reading. -- Approx.Purified |

Issue resolved. I finally got so sick of it tonight that I went and completely reinstalled Vista. Problem sorted now, 4OD playing videos and not bitching to be about my DRM. I think it came down to a hardware issue. I had recently upgraded my processor and RAM and updated the BIOS for my motherboard while I was at it. Read that the DRM on Vista is linked to your hardware configuration so the only solution I could see was to do a reinstall. A bit drastic but I think my PC could have done with a good clean up. Cheers anyway. -- Approx.Purified |

I tried installing a game yesterday (FM2008) and have only just experienced
this problem. 4od worked fine prior to the install and uninstall (numerous) to get the game working. When I came to watch Green Wing I was confronted with the DRM issue. I've found the DRM folder (as per the microsoft website) and its empty. I think that there must be another solution other than reinstalling VIsta. Also this would screw me over with regards to microsoft office (when I've reinstalled XP in the past I found that I had use upanother of my student and teacher licences).
